About the position

The Sr. Front End Developer (React) position is focused on developing and implementing user interface solutions for an Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Platform within a product team. The role emphasizes collaboration within an Agile Scrum environment, where the developer will contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of software capabilities while ensuring product quality and timely delivery.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and implementing custom software capabilities for an Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Platform with limited oversight
• Acting as a member of a product team supporting teammates and collaborating with a positive attitude to ensure product and team success
• Providing significant improvements to the platform being supported
• Active participation in release and sprint planning, artifact creation, sprint testing, regression testing, demonstrations and retrospectives and solution releases
• Analyzing complex project-related problems and creating innovative solutions involving scheduling, technology, and methodology
• Ensuring product quality and timeliness of work, providing advice and guidance, resolving problems to meet objectives, and providing periodic performance reports
• Providing input on best practices and procedures creation
• Developing new and refining existing processes to enhance quality and productivity

Requirements

• College degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Management Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
• At least seven (7) years of related technical experience, with software design, development and implementation
• Experience with TypeScript and React
• Familiarity with any of the following: GO, Kubernetes, Python, GITLab
• Experience working on unusually complicated problems and providing highly creative solutions
• Ability to apply estimation techniques to software development efforts
• Ability to identify and manage risk
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong collaboration skills and desire to work within a team
• Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a self-starter
