About The Position
Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Front End Developer for a 10-month hybrid contract position with a leading client in Columbus, OH. This role is designed for an experienced developer who will be responsible for creating user-friendly web pages using markup languages like HTML, maintaining and improving existing websites, and optimizing applications for maximum speed. The developer will also design mobile-based features and collaborate closely with back-end developers and web designers to enhance usability. Feedback from users and customers will be integral to the role, as the developer will need to build solutions based on this feedback. Additionally, the developer will be tasked with writing functional requirement documents and guides, creating quality mock-ups and prototypes, and assisting back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting tasks. Ensuring high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency is also a key responsibility, along with staying updated on emerging technologies and illustrating design ideas through storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
