About the position

We are seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to evolve and mature the design system for web and mobile platforms. This role involves advocating for the design system across the design team and collaborating with business and technology partners to ensure the Design Language library is effectively implemented in projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern web frameworks and accessibility best practices.

Responsibilities

• Evolve and mature the design system for web and mobile platforms.
• Advocate for the design system across the design team and with business and technology partners.
• Collaborate with technology partners to ensure the Design Language library is easily implemented in projects.
• Document code contributions to a shared framework.
• Implement best practices in HTML/CSS and modern web frameworks.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficient knowledge of modern web frameworks including React/Angular.
• Experience working with design systems.
• Experience applying accessibility best practices (WCAG 2.0).
• Good understanding of CSS pre-processing platforms such as Sass.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Stencil JS / Lit JS (Stencil web components).
• Experience with Figma.
• Familiarity with the AGILE process.
