About the position

The Sr. Frontend Developer will work collaboratively with development project teams, UI/UX designers, and business analysts to create and maintain reusable UI components that are accessible, performant, scalable, and robust. The role requires a strong understanding of web accessibility standards and responsive design, ensuring that all development is tested for accessibility compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reusable UI components.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and business analysts.
• Ensure components are accessible, performant, scalable, and robust.
• Test development for accessibility using Jaws reader and browser plugins.

Requirements

• Strong background with React.js (5 years required).
• Experience with HTML5 and CSS Frameworks (5 years required).
• Strong knowledge of ADA, WCAG 2.1, Section 508 compliance policies (5 years required).
• Experience with current JAVA and relevant IDE tools such as Eclipse/Jboss Developer Studio (3 years required).
• Experience with JPA framework (2 years required).
• Experience with current Spring framework (2 years required).
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Data (2 years required).
• Experience with Java 8+ (3 years required).
• Experience in an Agile development environment (2 years required).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience programming in the JBOSS Enterprise environment (2 years desired).
