About the position

The Sr Frontend Engineer will be responsible for creating, designing, and testing web components, with a strong emphasis on Stencil.js. This role involves managing support tickets and promoting the adoption of a custom-built User Experience framework within the organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in frontend development and a solid understanding of various frontend frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Create, design, and test web components using Stencil.js.
• Manage support tickets and provide high-level end-user support.
• Promote the adoption of the custom-built User Experience framework internally.
• Develop and maintain a design system built on web components utilizing Stencil and Storybook.
• Write clean, maintainable, and responsive styles using CSS and SCSS.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment and contribute to technical direction.
• Mentor other team members in frontend technologies and web components best practices.

Requirements

• Proficient in creating, designing, and testing web components, especially in Stencil.js.
• Extensive experience in frontend development using frameworks such as React, Angular, .Net, Java Spring, Java Struts, Bootstrap, Sharepoint, Salesforce, Pega, PowerApps, or ServiceNow.
• Strong understanding of web components, CSS, or SCSS.
• Demonstrated ability in designing, developing, and testing frontend web components.
• Extensive experience developing within and maintaining a design system built on web components.
• Profound knowledge of CSS and SCSS, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and responsive styles.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Agile development methodologies.
