The Sr. Full Stack Developer (JavaScript) position at Deloitte focuses on leveraging data analytics and modern technologies to solve complex problems for government and public service clients. The role involves designing and developing scalable solutions, collaborating with teams, and mentoring others in modern application development practices.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and understand complex business systems with multiple integrations and engineering challenges.
  • Design end-to-end user experiences by creating practical, reliable, and efficient solutions.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in architecture, including web applications, micro-services-based APIs, and data stores.
  • Explain complex solutions in a simple and intuitive manner to various stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with small teams to design, develop, and deliver product features incrementally and iteratively.
  • Champion modern application development practices and mentor team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
  • 8+ years of Agile cloud development experience.
  • 4+ years of development experience with Java/J2EE, Java API for RESTful Webservices, Spring Rest, Spring Core, Full stack Java with Angular, Java Spring Framework, SoapUI, Springboot, or Spring MVC.
  • 4+ years of experience using Node.JS.
  • Experience working with AWS ecosystem and related tools.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience migrating front-end systems to modern tech stacks including NodeJS and Python.
  • Expertise in SQL with knowledge of PostgreSQL, Athena, and RedShift.
  • Experience with GitHub and Jenkins for development and maintenance.
  • Experience with unit testing and code coverage frameworks like SonarQube.
  • Experience working in agile environments using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Slack.
  • Experience with Healthcare data and EDI/X12 HIPAA.
