About the position

The Sr. Full Stack Developer will play a critical role in developing innovative solutions to streamline and enhance healthcare billing processes within a fast-growing Dallas healthcare company. This position focuses on building scalable applications using AWS microservices, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new features efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications with a focus on AWS microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA, and other engineers, to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Lead the development of healthcare billing systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and integration with third-party healthcare and payment systems.
• Architect and implement solutions that ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and data pipelines to connect various data sources and provide data consistency across systems.
• Work in an Agile environment, participating in code reviews, stand-ups, and sprint planning.
• Mentor junior developers, sharing best practices in code quality, test coverage, and DevOps.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure system stability and performance.

Requirements

• Senior level full-stack development experience, with a heavier focus on backend services and frameworks.
• Proven experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, S3, ECS, DynamoDB, API Gateway) and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in server-side languages like Node.js, Go, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with healthcare billing systems and familiarity with HIPAA regulations and standards.
• Strong knowledge of modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Ionic Angular).
• Solid experience with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB).
• Proficient in building and maintaining RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
