Sr Full Stack Java Developer

About the position

We are seeking a very talented and motivated Full Stack Software Developer to join our energetic team. Financial domain knowledge is preferred, but more importantly drive to build great software and bring delightful digital experience to our customers. This is an opportunity to immerse you in the latest Java, Angular, Cloud, and JavaScript frameworks and tools that are relevant to Digital. This individual is responsible for leveraging technology to enable the organization's future-state business capabilities, which can enable or alter business processes or practices that, in turn, drive the organization's targeted business outcomes. Senior Full Stack Software Developers must be capable of practically applying existing, new, and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models. Conversely, they must be able to understand, and operationalize new technologies. The individual in this role develops deliverables that are valuable to the business, including business capabilities, business requirements and workflow.

• Design and build new software tools and systems on the Azure and Private Cloud.
• Perform comprehensive TDD, integration and scale testing of all software produced.
• Work with existing users to provide education and resolution of issues.
• Integrate new technologies and systems into existing infrastructure.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis of problematic datasets to help resolve issues encountered by users.
• Participate in group design and code reviews.

Requirements

• MS or equivalent in Computer Science is preferred.
• 5 years of experience building feature-rich customer facing applications.
• 5 years of experience building feature-rich customer facing web applications.
• Experience with building applications in Azure is preferred.
• Practical experience with Java 8, OOP and Design Patterns.
• Experience with Spring Security and Oauth2.
• Experience with Cloud, Cloud Foundry, Docker and Containers.
• Experience with front end technologies including: Angular2, JavaScript, Polymer, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with XML and REST/JSON technologies.
• Hands on experience with Junit and other TDD tools.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
• Good understanding of SCRUM/agile methodology.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Exposure to java frameworks like spring, spring boot.
• Hybrid Mobile development experience.
• Understanding Dev-Ops and experience.
• Cloud/Pivotal and/or RedHat OpenShift platform experience.
