About the position

Advantech is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer to modernize and extend the code base of in-house design systems. The role involves reducing complexity, maintaining unit tests, creating integrations, and adding new features. The ideal candidate will engage in algorithm development, system-level problem solving, and UI design, while ensuring high-quality, documented code and effective database schema design.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages and design patterns
• Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture
• Use .NET to build and enhance distributed web applications
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our codebase by following best practices in development, software design, and deployment
• Develop client displays and user interfaces
• Coordinate with other software professionals and developers
• Remain up to date with the terminology, concepts and best practices for coding mobile apps
• Take ownership (improve, test and maintain) of different areas in SDLC
• Improve accuracy by developing automatic unit tests and integration tests
• Complete any other projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher is required
• Familiarity with the .NET Core, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
• 3+ years of development experience using C# .NET
• Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#) and HTML5/CSS3
• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
• Knowledge of REST and RPC APIs
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Able to work well in a team setting.
