About the position

Infosys is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer who will play a crucial role in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This position involves collaborating with key stakeholders, defining application architecture, and delivering high-quality code. The developer will be responsible for leading testing and support activities related to implementation and warranty, while fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based web applications using Java 11 and Spring Boot.
• Develop APIs and work on all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Gather requirements, design functional documents, implement solutions, and provide production support.
• Utilize Agile Methodology, including participation in key scrum ceremonies.
• Develop components using React/Angular 8 from scratch and customize as needed.
• Ensure sprint dedication and meet release goals as per project objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
• Coordinate with offshore teams and manage customer relationships, including weekly reports and governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience with Java8/J2EE, Microservices, Spring Boot, Hibernate, web services, REST services, API Security, OAuth, and Spring Security Framework.
• At least 1 year of experience with React JS/Angular.
• Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), Azure, or AWS.
• Experience in software development life cycle and project life cycle activities.

Nice-to-haves

• Lead experience managing a team of 3-4 members.
• 2-4 years of experience in design and architecture review.
• Familiarity with DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, and manual deployments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a global delivery environment.
