About the position

Infosys is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer who will play a crucial role in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This position involves collaborating with key stakeholders, defining application architecture, and delivering high-quality code. The developer will be responsible for creating web applications using Java and Spring Boot, developing APIs, and ensuring project delivery while mentoring team members and coordinating with offshore teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java-based web applications using Java 11 and Spring Boot.
• Develop APIs and components using React/Angular 8.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirement gathering to production support.
• Ensure sprint dedication and meet release goals.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
• Coordinate with offshore teams and manage customer relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Experience with Java8/J2EE, Microservices, Spring Boot, and frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, web-services, REST services, API Security, OAuth, and Spring Security Framework.
• At least 1 year of experience with React JS/Angular.
• Experience working with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), Azure, or AWS.

Nice-to-haves

• Lead experience managing a team of 3-4 members.
• Experience in design and architecture review (2-4 years).
• Familiarity with DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, and manual deployments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
