About the position

The Software Application Developer/Analyst will lead the architecture discussions and development of order management systems, focusing on defining and delivering architectural solutions for enterprise status and tasking systems. This role involves driving the end-to-end process for impactful programs, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope and budget. The position requires providing technical leadership, developing architectural artifacts, and managing vendor relationships for development and maintenance support.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture discussions for order management systems.
• Elicit business requirements to define architectural solutions.
• Drive end-to-end processes for large impactful programs.
• Provide technical leadership and develop architectural artifacts.
• Manage governance and performance of vendors under contract.
• Establish relationships with managers at all levels.
• Articulate problem statements and address challenges and roadblocks.
• Negotiate and influence solutions with directors.
• Leverage industry trends to drive innovation in order management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• 10 or more years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with J2EE and Java technologies, Spring, Servlet, Web Services, XML.
• Experience with React JS, HTML5, Java, Angular JS.
• Working experience with modular code development, microservices, design patterns, and multi-threading.
• Experience with Junit, Maven, Oracle, UNIX.
• Experience in cloud computing and rules engines such as DROOLS.
• Experience with API and backend client/server architecture.
• Knowledge of industry best practices in enterprise-class software development and agile methodology.
