About the position

The Sr. Java Full Stack Developer position at Infosys involves collaborating with key stakeholders and applying technical expertise throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The role focuses on requirements gathering, application architecture design, and delivering high-quality code. The developer will lead testing and support activities related to implementation and warranty, contributing to a culture of learning, teamwork, and diversity.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Java-based web applications using Java 11 and Spring Boot.
  • Develop APIs and components using React/Angular 8 from scratch and customize as needed.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirement gathering, design, implementation, and production support.
  • Ensure sprint dedication and meet release goals while understanding program/project objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members.
  • Coordinate with offshore and client teams for end-to-end project delivery.
  • Manage customer relationships and provide weekly reports/governance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
  • At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
  • Experience with Java8/J2EE, Microservices, Spring Boot, Hibernate, web services, REST services, API Security, OAuth, and Spring Security Framework.
  • At least 1 year of experience with React JS/Angular.
  • Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), Azure, or AWS.
  • Experience in software development life cycle and project life cycle activities.

Nice-to-haves

  • Lead experience managing a team of 3-4 members.
  • 2-4 years of experience in design and architecture review.
  • Familiarity with DevOps, GitHub, Jenkins, and manual deployments.
  • Experience working in a global delivery environment.
