About the position
The Sr. Global Maintenance Engineer is responsible for coordinating and supporting maintenance activities across TIMET's global facilities. This role focuses on standardizing maintenance processes, utilizing SAP CMMS, and leading projects aimed at improving equipment reliability, safety, and performance. The engineer will also develop predictive and preventive maintenance programs and provide training to enhance equipment reliability.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support maintenance activities of TIMET global facilities.
- Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies and programs.
- Evaluate, develop, and improve predictive and preventive maintenance programs.
- Lead rebuild/repair projects and manage storeroom inventory using SAP.
- Assist/lead facilities through FMEA's, criticality analysis, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Provide equipment training to enhance reliability.
- Identify and lead maintenance bad actor and OEE driven equipment reliability projects.
- Support EHS team to ensure compliance and maintenance for critical resources.
- Plan, manage, and execute multiple projects involving various resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 5-7 years of experience in maintenance engineering or 10+ years of heavy equipment maintenance experience.
- Thorough understanding of plant equipment, processes, and procedures.
- SAP CMMS skills for developing equipment hierarchy and maintenance plans.
- Project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project).
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with forge presses and machinery rebuilds.
- Knowledge of EHS compliance and maintenance practices.
