About the position

The Sr. Global Product Finance and Analytics Manager is a key individual contributor role within the Global Product FP&A Organization. This position focuses on partnering with the product organization to develop go-to-market strategies, conduct in-depth analytics, and report on product performance. The role requires strong analytical skills, data visualization expertise, and the ability to build effective relationships with various stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sr. Product leadership to provide thought leadership and advice on product launch and commercialization decisions.
  • Create financial forecasts, operating models, and decision frameworks necessary for goal setting and estimates.
  • Own and drive the annual operating plan and LRS plans end to end, including cost deep dives and contribution margin analysis.
  • Use data, analytics, and metrics to influence product roadmaps and reporting initiatives.
  • Execute against the vision for standardizing metrics, definitions, and reporting frameworks across client analytics organizations.
  • Create ongoing reports to assess monthly and quarterly business performance metrics with insightful analysis and commentary.
  • Collaborate with Product and PM leads to identify new reporting and data requirements, documenting them and coordinating with engineering teams to address reporting gaps.
  • Evolve as the subject matter expert for data related to the Global Product team, coaching regional reporting teammates on data usage, metrics, and KPIs.
  • Provide recommendations to improve the existing reporting toolkit and enhance self-serve capabilities across the organization.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to support corporate initiatives as needed.
  • Create and present presentations for various forums, including FP&A, Global Product, Marketing, and senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related fields; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in Financial Planning, Business Analytics, and business performance reporting.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting Product, Marketing, and/or Finance.
  • Strong quantitative analysis and data mining skills, including SQL and Excel.
  • Experience in identifying insights from data and formulating a narrative.
  • Experience in creating business dashboards and reports using Power BI is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting business and technical issues, ideas, and recommendations.
