About the position

The Senior Global Product Marketing Specialist for Nutritional Delivery at Cardinal Health is responsible for core product marketing and management activities essential for the business. This role involves collaborating cross-functionally to execute strategic business objectives, focusing on the enteral feeding market and managing a portfolio of products under the Kangaroo™ brand.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product lifecycle management activities for the portfolio, including key projects or programs, change development processes, and data management.
  • Liaise with manufacturing and supply chain stakeholders for the portfolio, developing effective communication methods between supply planning, manufacturing, and regional marketing teams.
  • Contribute to the global product strategy for the portfolio, working with regional marketing leaders to uncover opportunities.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of marketing and product management disciplines necessary for building business plans, product plans, and marketing plans.
  • Identify and remain current on market trends to drive market competitiveness and achieve sustainable economic success.
  • Demonstrate financial acumen and logical decision making in the general business environment, supporting the development of business cases, investment requests, forecasting, pricing, deal structures, and assessing strategic options.
  • Influence and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including R&D, sourcing, manufacturing, enterprise marketing, customer service, finance, quality, regulatory, legal, and regional teams.
  • Translate market and customer needs into clearly defined goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics to drive revenue and profit.
  • Understand and utilize methods available to execute primary research (VOC) necessary to drive portfolio decisions.
  • Take informed risks and be biased toward action.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Marketing, Product Management, Supply Chain, Sales, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field, preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, including interpersonal, written, and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized with exceptional project management skills.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and prioritization to deliver on business commitments in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Demonstrate financial acumen and logical decision making in the general business environment.
  • Strong display of grit and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time domestically.
