About the position

The Sr. Go-to-Market Specialist Solutions Architect for Generative AI at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for helping customers design and deploy applications that leverage Generative AI technologies. This role involves engaging with product owners, influencing product direction, and enabling enterprise customers to utilize Generative AI models effectively. The position requires collaboration with various teams to drive the adoption of AWS services for machine learning and artificial intelligence, while also providing thought leadership and technical guidance to customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Evangelize AWS GenAI services and share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, white-papers, and public-speaking events.
• Partner with Solution Architects, Sales, Business Development, and AI/ML Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and provide guidance on customer engagements.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and AWS SageMaker services teams to provide customer-driven product improvement feedback.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of ML-related subject matter experts worldwide.
• Create field enablement materials to help the broader SA population understand how to integrate AWS GenAI solutions into customer architectures.
• Implement and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms under Gen AI, building prototypes and exploring new solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain experience (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Experience working with end user or developer communities.
• Experience managing data pipelines.
• Experience as a leader and mentor on a data science team.
• Active in the open source community, such as HuggingFace, StableDiffusion, etc.
• Large models pretrain/fine-tuning experience, familiar with distributed training.
