We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Developer to join our Engineering team. This team is responsible for system design and architecture, developing high-quality functions, and ensuring a seamless and smooth customer experience. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership and vision in the design, implementation, testing, and rollout of both existing and new services in a multi-region configuration. This role requires a strong focus on detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs. As a Senior Developer, you will be involved in the design and development of REST application program interfaces (APIs) and web services. You will also be responsible for designing and creating reusable frameworks and components to support global delivery needs. Maintaining REST API documentation using Swagger and engaging in quality testing and validation for changes or improved features before releasing them to customers will be key aspects of your role. You will troubleshoot issues and debug codebases, work on the AWS cloud platform including EKS, and maintain and improve existing codebases while conducting peer reviews of code changes. In this position, you will adapt new technologies, tools, and processes from the organization as needed, ensuring that the API layer aspects for security, monitoring, analytics, and throttling are well managed. Collaboration is essential, as you will work closely with leads and team members to meet all project deliverables and milestone dates. Effective communication with team members and suppliers is crucial to ensure successful project outcomes.
