About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Engineer to join our dynamic development team. This role focuses on ensuring the quality and security of GoLang-based services through comprehensive testing strategies and collaboration with the development team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure the service meets functional, performance, and security requirements.
• Conduct manual and automated testing of the GoLang-based services.
• Ensure security standards are upheld, especially concerning cryptographic implementations and key management best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to enhancing the quality of the codebase.
• Continuously identify potential technical risks and work with the development team to mitigate them.
• Establish performance benchmarks and test the scalability of the services.
• Ensure continuous improvement through feedback loops and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quality Engineer.
• Experience with security testing frameworks, automated testing, and performance testing tools such as TestNG, Serenity, JBehave or Cucumber.
• Experience with Serenity and Rest Assured; Docker, Mockito, Jenkins OR Gitlab; Maven OR Gradle; Playwright OR Cypress OR Selenium.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
• Understanding DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments is a plus.
