Leidos is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to support an Intelligence Community (IC) program in Bethesda, MD. This position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance, which must be obtained prior to consideration for the role. The Senior Graphic Designer will play a critical role in developing graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products that support government staff. The ideal candidate will work independently and collaboratively within a team environment to achieve success in a mission-critical contract. The responsibilities of the Senior Graphic Designer include utilizing request management tools to provide swift and high-quality customer support for communication requests. The designer will coordinate with UI/UX designers in Knowledge Management to ensure that graphics products are engaging and user-friendly. The role involves creating graphic designs for a variety of written and digital products, developing design concepts, and implementing designs for new web pages, mobile applications, newsletters, ads, infographics, banners, illustrations, logos, and other types of digital content that will be presented online. Additionally, the Senior Graphic Designer will ensure that all products conform to production standards, copyright laws, accessibility compliance requirements, and public release clearances. The designer will conduct technical quality checks and manage approved concepts, building them in HTML/CSS to comply with responsive design principles. Cartography support may also be required to design thematic and reference maps. This position is essential for ensuring that the Intelligence Community has the right tools and technologies to keep pace with evolving security threats.
