About the position

The Sr. GTM Specialist Solutions Architect for Analytics at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for providing expertise in designing solutions that leverage AWS Data & AI services. This role involves collaborating with various teams to enable large-scale customer use cases, driving the adoption of AWS services, and acting as a technical liaison between customers and AWS Analytics services. The position requires thought leadership, customer advisory, and the development of enablement materials to support the broader Solutions Architect community.

Responsibilities

• Evangelize AWS Analytics services and share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, white-papers, and public-speaking events.
• Partner with SAs, Sales, Business Development, Data, and AI/ML Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and provide guidance on customer engagements.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and AWS Analytics services teams to provide customer-driven product improvement feedback.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of Data-related subject matter experts worldwide.
• Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them integrate AWS GenAI solutions into customer architectures.
• Build prototypes, PoCs, and explore new solutions while interacting closely with customers and the academic community.

Requirements

• 7+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications
• 5+ years management of technical, customer-facing resources
• 5+ years of experience with Analytics

Nice-to-haves

• History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Familiarity with common enterprise services and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
• AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.
• Computer Science/relevant degree and/or experience highly desired.
