About the position

The Sr. GTM Specialist Solutions Architect for Analytics at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for leveraging Data & AI services to help customers design solutions that address their complex business challenges. This role involves collaborating with various teams to drive the adoption of AWS services, creating enablement materials, and acting as a technical liaison between customers and AWS Analytics services. The position emphasizes thought leadership, customer engagement, and the development of prototypes and proofs of concept (PoCs).

Responsibilities

• Evangelize AWS Analytics services and share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, white-papers, and public-speaking events.
• Partner with Solution Architects, Sales, Business Development, and AI/ML Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and provide guidance on customer engagements.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and AWS Analytics services teams to provide customer-driven product improvement feedback.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of Data-related subject matter experts worldwide.
• Create field enablement materials for the broader Solutions Architect population to help them integrate AWS GenAI solutions into customer architectures.
• Build prototypes and proofs of concept (PoCs) while interacting closely with customers and the academic community.

Requirements

• 7+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications
• 5+ years management of technical, customer-facing resources
• 5+ years of experience with Analytics

Nice-to-haves

• History of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Familiarity with common enterprise services and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
• AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.
• Computer Science/relevant degree and/or experience highly desired.
