About the position

The GTM Specialist Solutions Architect role within the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) at AWS focuses on driving customer adoption of GenAI services across various industries. This position involves collaborating with teams to develop go-to-market strategies, providing technical insights, and acting as a thought leader in the field. The role is pivotal in addressing complex customer challenges and innovating solutions that leverage AWS capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Represent the voice of the customer and collaborate with teams to bring customer feedback to product teams.
  • Provide advanced technical knowledge to aligned GTM teams to address critical business challenges.
  • Own the technical standards for specialist technical artifacts and ensure quality.
  • Collaborate with GTM colleagues to provide technical insights into strategy and support marketing efforts.
  • Share best practices through AWS blogs, whitepapers, and public-speaking events.
  • Guide and support an internal community of technical experts and create enablement materials.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications.
  • 5+ years of management experience with technical, customer-facing resources.
  • 5+ years of experience in Generative AI and/or AI/ML.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with large models pre-training/fine-tuning.
  • Familiarity with Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, or similar services.
  • Machine learning certification.
  • Active participation in the open-source community (e.g., HuggingFace, StableDiffusion).
  • History of successful technical consulting or architecture engagements with large-scale customers.
  • Experience in migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud.
  • AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.
