About the position

The Sr. GTM Specialist Solutions Architect for Storage, Data & AI at Amazon is responsible for driving the adoption of AWS Storage services by leveraging their expertise in machine learning and data solutions. This role involves collaborating with various teams to develop go-to-market strategies, providing technical guidance to customers, and creating enablement materials to support the broader Solutions Architect community. The position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping customers achieve their goals through innovative cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Evangelize AWS Storage services and share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, white-papers, and public-speaking events.
• Partner with Solutions Architects, Sales, Business Development, and AI/ML Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and provide guidance on customer engagements.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers and AWS Storage services teams to provide customer-driven product improvement feedback.
• Develop and support an AWS internal community of Storage-related subject matter experts worldwide.
• Create field enablement materials to help the broader Solutions Architect population integrate AWS GenAI solutions into customer architectures.
• Implement and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms under Storage, Data, and AI, building prototypes and exploring new solutions.

Requirements

• 7 years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
• 5+ years management of technical, customer-facing resources.
• 5 years of specific technology domain areas experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).

Nice-to-haves

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
• Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
• Experience managing data pipelines.
• Experience as a leader and mentor on a data science team.
• Active in the open-source community, such as HuggingFace, StableDiffusion, etc.
• Large models pretrain/fine-tuning experience, familiar with distributed training.
