About the position

The Sr. GTM Specialist Solutions Architect for Storage, Data & AI at AWS is responsible for driving customer adoption of AWS Storage services by leveraging their technical expertise and business acumen. This role involves collaborating with various teams to develop go-to-market strategies, providing technical guidance, and creating enablement materials to support AWS's mission of delivering exceptional results for customers. The position requires a strong background in machine learning and data architecture, as well as excellent communication skills to engage with customers and stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Evangelize AWS Storage services and share best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, white-papers, and public-speaking events.
  • Partner with SAs, Sales, Business Development, Storage, and AI/ML Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and provide guidance on customer engagements.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers and AWS Storage services teams to provide customer-driven product improvement feedback.
  • Develop and support an AWS internal community of Storage-related subject matter experts worldwide.
  • Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them integrate AWS GenAI solutions into customer architectures.
  • Implement and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms under Storage, Data, and AI, building prototypes and exploring new solutions.

Requirements

  • 7 years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience.
  • 5+ years management of technical, customer-facing resources.
  • 5 years of specific technology domain areas experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).

Nice-to-haves

  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience.
  • Experience working with end-user or developer communities.
  • Experience managing data pipelines.
  • Experience as a leader and mentor on a data science team.
  • Active in the open-source community, such as HuggingFace, StableDiffusion, etc.
  • Large models pretrain/fine-tuning experience, familiar with distributed training.
