Your expertise in hardware engineering will be crucial in supporting production and ensuring that our avionics technology enhances situational awareness and decision-making capabilities for pilots. Responsibilities

  • Design and develop advanced hardware solutions for aerospace products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware designs
  • Conduct testing and validation of hardware designs to ensure quality and reliability
  • Provide technical expertise to support hardware production
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in hardware engineering and apply them to product designs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in advanced hardware engineering
  • Strong knowledge of hardware design principles and methodologies
  • Experience with hardware testing and validation
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience in aerospace industry
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for aerospace hardware (DO-254, Design Assurance Guidance for Airborne Electronic Hardware and RTCA DO-160 Qualification Guidelines)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Mentor Graphics X-petition Enterprise Design Flow, Mathcad, MS Excel, and LT-Spice
