About the position

The Sr. Hardware Development Engineer role at AWS focuses on designing and developing accelerated servers for Generative AI and ML workloads. Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and root cause analysis of new accelerated server segments.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their technical needs and business goals.
• Work with interdisciplinary teams including component, firmware, test, qualification, and integration engineers.
• Oversee the manufacturing process with design partners to bring servers to data centers.
• Monitor the quality and performance of the server fleet post-launch to meet customer requirements.
• Interface with internal and external customers to facilitate system development based on server design.
• Identify operational challenges and improve customer experience with existing server fleets.

Requirements

• Experience in developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.

Nice-to-haves

• Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production.
