In this position, you will take hardware design projects through the full development life-cycle. This includes the critical tasks of decomposing and combining customer requirements, performing analog and digital circuit (schematic) design, and conducting thorough testing and debugging of hardware. You will also collaborate with suppliers on component selection, taking full ownership of the hardware aspects of your projects from concept to production-level systems. Responsibilities

  • Take hardware design projects through the full development life-cycle.
  • Decompose and combine customer requirements for hardware design.
  • Perform analog and digital circuit (schematic) design.
  • Test and debug hardware components.
  • Work with suppliers on component selection.
  • Take full ownership of hardware aspects of projects from concept to production.

Requirements

  • Expertise in analog/digital circuit design, including circuit analysis, schematic capture, and verification.
  • 7+ years of experience in electronic hardware schematic design and development, preferably for electromechanical control systems.
  • Exposure to digital communications protocols (CAN, LIN, I2C, SPI, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of motors, sensors, and electromagnetics (EMC/EMI) is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE); Master's degree (MSEE) is a plus.
