The Senior Hardware-in-Loop (HIL) Test Engineer will play a crucial role in testing Drive Unit (DU) embedded software. This position is essential for ensuring the performance and reliability of the software by testing it under various operating environments, fault conditions, and stress scenarios. The engineer will be responsible for developing HIL test cases specifically for motor controls and software features, which is vital for fulfilling software functional safety-related requirements. In addition to developing test cases, the engineer will perform regression tests, report bugs, and provide debugging support. They will also be involved in development validation testing for the team, ensuring that the software meets the required standards before deployment. The role requires upgrading and maintaining the HIL test stations and other related lab equipment, which is critical for the ongoing success of the testing processes. This position not only demands technical expertise but also strong collaborative skills to work effectively with various teams, including software developers, test and integration engineers, and system architects.
