About the position

The Sr. Healthcare Research Analyst at CAQH plays a pivotal role in leading research initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency of healthcare administrative processes through data-driven insights. This position is responsible for managing research projects, conducting data analysis, and drafting reports that measure the impact of healthcare data exchange standards on administrative workflows. The analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders to promote CAQH as a thought leader in the healthcare sector, focusing on the automation of administrative transactions and the simplification of business functions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of the CAQH Index report and related research.
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data related to healthcare revenue cycle.
  • Manage and maintain a database to ensure accurate and timely data.
  • Analyze data, interpret findings, and draft the annual report and associated documents.
  • Conduct literature reviews to support research topics on healthcare data exchange.
  • Interact with vendors and stakeholders to support research initiatives.
  • Coordinate and manage project tasks, including communications and outreach activities.
  • Present findings to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Collaborate with CAQH staff to identify and support valuable research initiatives.
  • Draft and manage research designs and methodologies, including surveys and analyses.
  • Conduct statistical analyses and draft reports and presentations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of six years of related work experience in the healthcare industry with a bachelor's degree, or four years with a master's degree.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex research projects involving survey data collection.
  • Experience using statistical software programs such as R or Stata for data analysis.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytic capabilities to compile and interpret data.
  • Excellent writing skills to convey findings clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle and key parties involved.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in survey cleaning, weighting, and estimation.
  • Ability to synthesize complex topics into user-friendly documents.
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
