Under minimal supervision, the Senior HR Compliance Specialist contributes to DT's success by developing, implementing, and overseeing compliance programs that align with local labor and employment regulations and standards. This role is crucial in training, promoting, and ensuring adherence to compliance behaviors across the organization. Embodies IOOGA (Integrity, Our People, Our Customers, Growth and Attitude).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR compliance programs
  • Ensure programs are up-to-date with local labor laws and employment regulations
  • Customize programs to meet the unique operational needs of various departments within DT
  • Conduct training sessions for DT's partners and operational leaders to promote understanding and adherence to established compliance practices and procedures
  • Develop and disseminate educational materials that aid in the understanding of relevant laws and company policies
  • Regularly audit compliance with local labor laws and internal procedures across all levels of the organization
  • Provide detailed reports to HR management and operational leaders, highlighting areas of concern and recommending solutions
  • Serve as a key advisor to operational leaders and partners on matters of HR compliance
  • Facilitate proper decision-making processes that align with legal standards and company values
  • Provide necessary tools and resources to staff to ensure adherence to compliance protocols
  • Coach and guide HR staff and company leaders in practices that align with DT's mission and values
  • Act as a role model for DT's guiding principles, setting a standard for integrity and compliance
  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of compliance programs and make improvements as necessary
  • Stay informed of changes in labor laws and adapt company policies in a timely manner to maintain compliance
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR compliance, labor relations, or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of local and federal employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent training and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High ethical standards and professionalism
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or related field
  • Professional certifications are a plus
