About the position

The Sr. HR Data Administrator is responsible for Level II support and HR transaction maintenance for the Workday HCM system across all thyssenkrupp Materials NA companies in the US and Canada. This role involves providing cross-functional support to various departments, managing HR programs, conducting data audits, and ensuring compliance with internal controls. The position also includes training new Data Administrators and onboarding new recruiters, while continuously improving HR processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for Workday business processes, including resolving functional problems and unexpected results.
  • Manage daily tasks for HR Administrator security group, ensuring accuracy and compliance of business processes.
  • Conduct regular data audits and partner with HR Business Partners to ensure data accuracy.
  • Manage HR service requests escalated from the Level 1 Employee Care support team, ensuring completion within SLAs.
  • Develop work instructions and deliver training to field HR to support business process compliance.
  • Support ongoing Workday implementation, optimization, and adoption, including documentation of requirements and user acceptance criteria.
  • Identify areas for improvement within business processes and research system functionality/trends.
  • Manage and support various HR Programs such as Travel & Expense, Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Recognition.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with Workday HCM system and HR processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and training abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Experience in HR program management.
  • Familiarity with data protection laws and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of wage and hour laws.
