About the position

The Sr. HR Generalist at Eaton's B-Line division serves as a vital link between employees and the HR department, ensuring the promotion of company values and providing timely support. This role encompasses various HR functions, including employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, and organizational development, while also acting as a subject matter expert for employee benefits and payroll.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key point of contact for employees to connect with the human resources department.
  • Lead various employee relations activities such as employee coaching, conducting investigations, and supporting the performance management process.
  • Support hourly talent acquisition and management activities, including building and maintaining a successful candidate pipeline and diversity outreach.
  • Strengthen employee retention and engagement through establishing and coordinating onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Build organizational capability by supporting talent management and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Coach and influence frontline leadership regarding relevant policies and practices.
  • Serve as local subject matter expert for employee benefits and payroll questions.
  • Generate and analyze regular and ad-hoc reports for regulatory, budgeting, and auditing purposes.
  • Facilitate and participate in engagement committees in support of overall Eaton goals.
  • Partner with HR Services to complete employment record and compensation updates.
  • Administrate the end employment process for both voluntary and involuntary separations.
  • Prepare and distribute HR related communications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of increasing responsibility in a progressive HR environment supporting global functions and/or manufacturing operations.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Minimum 3 years of increasing HR responsibility.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • PHR certification.
  • Able and open to relocate to additional Eaton facilities for growth opportunities.
