About the position

The Sr HR Operations Analyst, Benefits at Rich Products Corporation plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation and administration of payroll, benefits, and wellbeing programs. This position collaborates closely with the Employee Services Organization (ESO), Centers of Excellence (COE), and third-party vendors to enhance the associate experience through process improvements. The analyst is responsible for auditing transactions, reconciling and processing funding requests, monitoring data feeds, and responding to inquiries and escalations. This role is integral in driving process enhancements and contributing to the implementation of the ESO while managing the administration of payroll, benefits, and wellbeing programs in partnership with third-party vendors. Key responsibilities include working with the ESO regarding payroll, benefits, and wellbeing approvals, issues, and escalations. The analyst serves as the primary contact for payroll and benefit plan vendors and third-party administrators, involving auditing transactions, reconciling and processing funding requests, monitoring data feeds, verifying and approving Advice to Pay, and responding to inquiries. Additionally, the analyst conducts complex annual benefit processes such as true-up calculations, non-discrimination testing and corrections, actuarial requests, and required annual third-party independent audits. The role also involves establishing processes and recommending changes by examining workflows and triaging issues, while proactively seeking to enhance the associate experience through ongoing process improvement and leveraging tools and software. The analyst is expected to track open items with vendors, maintain logs, and ensure day-to-day operations align with COE strategic implementation. Collaboration with other departments to develop and implement policies is essential, as is supporting merger and acquisition requirements as needed. The analyst will also conduct both external and internal investigations/audits as required and provide support for special projects and COE initiatives, driving process enhancements and documentation while maintaining compliance with guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the ESO regarding payroll, benefits, and wellbeing approvals, issues, and escalations.
  • Serve as contact for payroll and benefit plan vendors and third-party administrator involving auditing transactions, reconciling and processing funding requests, monitoring data feeds, verifying and approving Advice to Pay, and responding to inquiries.
  • Conduct more complex annual benefit processes such as true-up calculations, non-discrimination testing and corrections, actuarial requests, and required annual third-party independent audits.
  • Work closely with vendors and third-party administrators on administration of benefit plans.
  • Establish processes and recommend process changes by examining workflows and triaging issues.
  • Proactively seek to enhance associate experience through ongoing process improvement and ability to leverage tools and software.
  • Track open items with vendors and maintain logs.
  • Ensure overall day to day operations resulting from COE strategic implementation.
  • Ensure consistent application and enforcement of policies, procedures, ESO processes, and escalations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement policies and ensure they are understood.
  • Support other processes not managed by ESO.
  • Support merger & acquisition requirements as needed.
  • Conduct both external & internal investigations/audits as required.
  • Provide support for special projects and COE initiatives.
  • Driving process enhancements and documentation.
  • Maintaining compliance with guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4-5 years' experience in HR operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficient in HRIS, payroll, and other software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for streamlining and optimizing.
  • ADP knowledge is preferred.
  • Exposure to Canadian, or Global benefits, is a plus.
  • Experience in other areas of Total Rewards preferred.
