About the position

The Senior HR Partner (HRP) at Amazon plays a crucial role in enhancing the employee experience by acting as a frontline consultant to people managers. This position requires a deep understanding of HR programs, processes, and tools, and focuses on increasing manager capability, supporting sensitive employee issues, and driving organizational effectiveness. The HRP collaborates with various HR specialists and business managers to implement innovative people programs and ensure consistent application of HR policies across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with people managers on performance management cases, including performance concerns and separation agreements.
  • Support employee relations investigations in partnership with HRBPs and legal teams.
  • Manage employee engagement programs and assist managers with action planning to drive improvements.
  • Support Talent Management processes by developing toolkits and communications for managers.
  • Coach and guide managers during Talent Management processes, compensation planning, and exception requests.
  • Track and identify organizational health hot spots and consult managers on people matters.
  • Enable managers by improving existing training and supporting career development initiatives.
  • Act as a point of contact for HR tools and processes, managing their implementation and review.
  • Analyze HR data and trends to provide insights for business strategy and improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant Human Resources experience.
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR administration.
  • Project management and execution skills.
