About the position

The Sr. Human Resources Generalist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta plays a crucial role in supporting employee and management needs across various HR disciplines. This position involves providing guidance on HR policies, facilitating employee events, and collaborating with HR Business Partners to deliver effective HR services. The role is essential in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with organizational standards, while also supporting the Minneapolis branch.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary employee contact on human resource disciplines for at least two branches/non-Atlanta locations.
  • Cultivate desired local culture in conjunction with local leadership and facilitate connection to the Atlanta office.
  • Execute day-to-day HR related functions as it relates to policies and procedures.
  • Work on moderate to complex issues requiring in-depth evaluation of factors.
  • Identify critical activities and adjust priorities as needed.
  • Plan and facilitate HR-sponsored employee events such as retirement luncheons and employee appreciation activities.
  • Recommend and implement processes to ensure compliance with Bank policies and standards.
  • Provide timely, accurate management information on the status of human resource efforts to business line clients.
  • Facilitate programs, partner with vendors, and conduct training and assessments upon request.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Five to eight years of experience preferred.
  • Ability to operate within HCM systems (Workday).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in conducting root cause analysis and driving process improvements.
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • HR Generalist Certificate (preferred).
  • Assessment administration and facilitation (e.g., DiSC, Strength Finders, Myers Briggs, Hogan, 360s).
  • Training and facilitation (Crucial Conversations, Crucial Accountability, Team Building).
