About the position

We are seeking a thoughtful, experienced Senior HR Generalist with high integrity, discretion, and a positive 'can-do' attitude to join our team, supporting our Willoughby, OH, and Levittown, PA business units. This role requires a hands-on HR professional with a collaborative, solution-focused mindset. As a trusted advisor to employees and leadership, the Senior HR Generalist will drive HR initiatives that align with organizational goals, foster a culture of engagement and inclusion, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute recruitment efforts, including advertising, candidate selection, and offer management, while building a robust talent pipeline.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, programs, and procedures, ensuring consistent application and understanding.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational objectives and workforce planning.
  • Support performance management initiatives, including performance reviews, goal setting, and leadership development programs.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, such as surveys and training programs, fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.
  • Act as a key resource for employee relations, conflict resolution, and workforce development, managing complex cases with discretion and professionalism.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, supporting audits, reporting, and risk management efforts as needed.
  • Utilize HR metrics to analyze trends and provide data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and process improvements.
  • Lead or support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions during periods of organizational growth or transformation.
  • Administer and enhance day-to-day HR functions, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, payroll processing, and employee record management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 4-7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HR Generalist or Business Partner role.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience with ADP Workforce Now Payroll/HRIS platform.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, best practices, and legal requirements.
  • Proven ability to partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with business objectives and execute them effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a high level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
  • Analytical skills with experience interpreting HR metrics and using data to inform decisions.
  • Proficiency in Payroll, HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A positive, solution-focused approach and a collaborative mindset.
