The Sr. Human Resources Specialist for Advanced Technology and Life Sciences at Fluor plays a pivotal role in supporting the Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) within this specialized business line. This position is designed for individuals who are adept at navigating the complexities of human resources practices and policies, particularly in a dynamic and diverse environment. The specialist will be responsible for providing consultation on various HR programs and initiatives, ensuring that the HR function operates at maximum effectiveness. This role requires a deep understanding of HR disciplines and the ability to act as a subject matter expert, guiding client groups through the intricacies of HR policies and procedures. In this position, the specialist will administer all applicable Human Resource policies and procedures that affect employees, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational goals. The role may also involve leading or participating in special HR projects, which could range from developing new HR initiatives to improving existing processes. Collaboration is key, as the specialist will interface with various groups both inside and outside the organization, including other HR departments, Strategic Business Units (SBUs), and external vendors. This requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a globally diverse environment. Maintaining a close working relationship with discipline management is essential to ensure that HR services are executed properly and that the needs of the company are met. The specialist will also establish relationships with their direct manager and colleagues, positioning themselves as a trusted discipline expert. Responsibilities
