About the position

The Senior Incentive Compensation Analyst at Arjo Inc. is responsible for the administration of commission compensation programs and customer rebate programs. This role involves executing compensation programs using performance tracking data, managing sales reporting databases, and ensuring consistency across financial reports and adjustments. The analyst will work closely with sales management to enhance reporting deliverables and maintain compensation software, ensuring accurate commission calculations and timely distribution of compensation statements.

Responsibilities

  • Administer commission compensation programs and customer rebate programs.
  • Develop Sales Plans for the Field Sales and Service teams.
  • Maintain and update a sales commission database for field representatives.
  • Reconcile sales commission updates by position to financial plan on a monthly basis.
  • Manage the monthly sales reporting process, including data extraction and adjustments.
  • Audit all systems (Database, SAP, COGNOS) for data consistency.
  • Create the 'President's Club' Program for sales team rankings and awards.
  • Collaborate with Sales Management to enhance reporting deliverables.
  • Handle calculations for proration's related to transfers, LOAs, new hires, and terminations.
  • Maintain compensation software for commission tracking and plan updates.
  • Audit reports to track movements and ensure accuracy.
  • Interface with the sales team regarding commission payout questions and changes.
  • Work with Finance to manage manual data adjustments due to shipment delays.
  • Prepare and manage Compensation Statements for field representatives.
  • Audit statements for outliers and verify adjustments.
  • Support verification of sales checks and distribute monthly Sales Recaps.
  • Develop Yearly Sales Commission Databases incorporating budgets and compensation plans.
  • Forecast and track customer rebate commitments and payments.
  • Maintain calculations for customer reporting on rebates.
  • Process payments or credits to customers based on contracts.
  • Collaborate with Contracts team to verify rebate specifications.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to previous year's processes.
  • Manage Special Commission Offers, processes, and payments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in incentive compensation and data analysis.
  • Experience in the Medical Device or Healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to troubleshoot discrepancies in the commission process.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with management and associates.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with sales-related software applications (SAP, COGNOS, Xactly).
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and database concepts.
