About the position

The Sr. Industrial Engineer at iA is responsible for analyzing operations, designing workflows and production processes, and ensuring that final products meet established design criteria. This role focuses on maximizing efficiency, reducing waste, and implementing process improvements within the company’s operations.

Responsibilities

• Designing production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades.
• Preparing material and equipment lists, cost analyses, and estimated production costs.
• Designing the layout of facilities and determining personnel requirements.
• Training internal staff for new processes and providing instructions and manuals.
• Interacting daily with customers and subcontractors to interpret their needs and requirements.
• Determining project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards.
• Completing technical studies as required by the project.
• Maintaining internal and external communication as required by the project.
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Design, Facilities Management, Architecture, or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in conceptualizing, designing, and developing integrated systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
