About the position

The Sr. Industrial Engineer will serve as a key resource in a global manufacturing company, focusing on analyzing and modeling capacity gaps to achieve desired business results. This role involves developing and implementing effective plans to close these gaps while interacting with various departments to drive improvements and eliminate waste.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, model, and predict capacity gaps across departments to achieve business results.
• Develop and implement plans to address capacity gaps and improve operational efficiency.
• Act as the main contact for all capacity and Industrial Engineering matters within the facility.
• Utilize a comprehensive set of Industrial Engineering skills to drive improvements across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Industrial Engineering.

Nice-to-haves

• 5-10 years of industrial engineering experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Access, Power BI, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of systems modeling tools, such as Arena simulation.
• Knowledge of engineering economics.
• Experience with Oracle Supply Chain Planning.
• Experience with Anaplan or other linear programming tools.
