About the position

The Senior Industrial Engineer at Sanmina Corporation is responsible for performing work measurement and workflow analysis to establish standards and optimize the utilization of production facilities. This role involves developing plant layouts, capacity plans, and accident prevention measures to ensure efficient and safe operations. The engineer will also provide product assembly instructions and standardize assembly practices while evaluating new techniques and technological advancements for production processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform and evaluate work measurement and workflow analysis for the establishment of standards and the utilization of production facilities.
• Develop plant and equipment layout, capacity plans, workflow, and accident prevention measures to maintain efficient and safe utilization of plant facilities.
• Provide product assembly instructions and standardize assembly practices.
• Evaluate new techniques and technological developments for inclusion in the production process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Material Science Engineering, or other Engineering disciplines, or years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 8 years experience as an Industrial Engineer in electronics manufacturing or a closely related field.
• Proficient in the use of CAD/CAM tools; SolidWorks and AutoCAD preferred.
