About the position

This position is responsible for executing a strategy for Platform Security Operations, which includes operational support over multiple contractor teams that manage security tooling. The role focuses on innovating and optimizing security operations through best practices, new tools, and process improvements, while ensuring operational stability and resilience in alignment with executive management's strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Execute strategy for Platform Security Operations.
  • Provide operational support over multiple contractor teams managing security tooling.
  • Develop product and outsourced operational services roadmaps for lifecycle management.
  • Innovate and optimize security operations through best practices and new tools.
  • Drive process improvements for operational stability and resilience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years experience in Information Technology / Information Security OR 11 years experience in IT / Information Security.
  • 3 years in Outsourced Contract Management and/or Leadership of outsourced operations teams.
  • Ability to influence across a matrixed organization and drive execution.
  • Leadership skills to effectively lead outsourced teams from multiple vendors.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and ability to recognize and drive need for change.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills, tools, and techniques.
  • Ability to develop strategic and tactical roadmaps and action plans.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to prioritize and make trade-off decisions.
  • Customer relationship management skills.
  • Ability to simplify and standardize complex concepts and processes.
  • Understanding of business and IT priorities, trends, and markets.
  • Expertise in process improvement and documentation best practices.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and system integration.
  • Familiarity with IT standards, procedures, and policies (e.g., HIPAA).
  • Experience with security tooling and platform operations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field.
  • IAM Provision & Management experience.
  • Configuration Management experience.
  • Knowledge of network-based and host-based intrusion detection systems.
  • Experience with enterprise-level antivirus solutions and encryption standards.
  • Familiarity with log and monitoring management systems and security event monitoring systems.
