About the position
The position at Bank of America is for an AWS Solution Architect responsible for creating complex technical designs that align with business strategies and architectural governance. The role focuses on deploying advanced technical solutions, improving reliability and security, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Design End to End solutions for AWS Messaging Services such as SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and Data Firehose.
- Develop and maintain cloud-based architectural solutions and digital infrastructure.
- Create and maintain Ansible and Terraform automation for large-scale enterprise solutions, from requirement gathering to solution handover.
- Analyze existing functionalities to ensure stability and compliance with risk and audit standards.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to facilitate deployment of technical solutions.
Requirements
- 6 to 8 years of experience as an AWS Solution Architect is required.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Go, Python, and CI/CD processes.
- Experience with AWS services including SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and Data Firehose.
- Familiarity with OPA policies and AWS security, identity, and compliance services.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AWS Key Management Service, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Config, S3, Artifact, and Secrets Manager.
- Familiarity with AWS analytics services like Kinesis and MSK is a plus.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification is a great plus.
