About the position
The Sr. Infrastructure Automation Engineer for AWS Messaging at Bank of America is responsible for creating complex technical designs that align with business strategies while adhering to architectural governance and standards. This role focuses on deploying advanced technical solutions, enhancing reliability, efficiency, and security, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design End to End solutions for AWS Messaging Services such as SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and Data Firehose.
- Act as an AWS Solution Architect to design and develop cloud-based architectural solutions and maintain Digital Infrastructure.
- Create and maintain Ansible and Terraform automation for large-scale enterprise solutions, including requirement gathering, design, development/testing, debugging, and solution handover.
- Analyze existing functionalities to ensure stability and compliance with risk and audit requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals.
Requirements
- 6 to 8 years of AWS Solution Architect experience is required.
- Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, Go, Python, and CI/CD processes.
- Experience with AWS services including SQS, SNS, EventBridge, and Data Firehose.
- Familiarity with OPA policies and AWS security, identity, and compliance services.
- Experience in developing Ansible playbooks for Infrastructure Automation.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with AWS Key Management Service, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Config, S3, Artifact, and Secrets Manager.
- Familiarity with AWS Analytics services like Kinesis and MSK is a plus.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification is a great plus.
