About the position
The Sr. Installation Technician at Sierra Controls, LLC is responsible for the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, particularly in the context of water measurement and control systems. This role involves working closely with engineers and project teams to ensure successful integration and customer satisfaction while managing multiple projects in the field.
Responsibilities
- Electrical installation, field troubleshooting, and installation of field measuring devices and solar technologies.
- Support project commissioning and startup from the field.
- Collaborate with Sr. Engineers, Field Engineers, and Project Engineers to ensure quality integration of electrical controls and SCADA systems.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and team members at Sierra Controls.
- Support multiple concurrent electrical SCADA projects and respond to service needs of existing systems.
- Conduct field and shop electrical system testing and commissioning.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working in a construction field, with a preference for electrical experience.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and professional demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
