About the position

Amazon is seeking a Senior Instock Manager for its Consumables Private Brands business unit. This role is pivotal in managing a unique supply chain and developing a successful inventory management strategy. The Senior Instock Manager will focus on optimizing inventory, supply chain, and operations to enhance customer experience, sales, and efficiency while reducing costs. The position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute best practices in inventory management, supply chain, and operations.
  • Maximize customer experience, sales, margin, instock rates, and inventory turns.
  • Ensure all inventory systems and processes meet business needs and implement controls around these processes.
  • Drive improvements in inventory availability and efficiency, purchasing efficiency, and cost reduction across all sales channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of professional or military experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with Excel.
  • Experience working with complex data sets.
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques.
  • Experience with SQL.
  • 7+ years of professional or military experience.
  • Experience leading process improvement, systems development, and project management.
  • MBA Preferred.
