At HNTB, we are looking for a Sr. Instructional Designer who will play a crucial role in creating leadership development programs and collaborating with internal clients and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to conduct performance needs analyses. This position involves designing, developing, implementing, and measuring the impact of learning and development (L&D) solutions aimed at improving performance across the organization. The Sr. Instructional Designer will be responsible for a variety of tasks including creating instructor-led training, e-learning modules, virtual classroom training, job aids, reference materials, and knowledge/skills assessments. Additionally, this role includes maintaining day-to-day activities within the Learning Management System (LMS). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in performance consulting and will lead the implementation of complex L&D projects from inception to completion with minimal oversight from management. This position requires a strong background in leadership development and project management, ensuring that all deliverables meet quality standards and are completed on time. The Sr. Instructional Designer will also provide coaching to other team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. In this role, you will apply a performance consulting approach to identify organizational and learner needs, collaborating with SMEs and stakeholders to gather data and develop effective solutions. You will design and develop a range of L&D solutions using various tools, manage projects with a disciplined approach, and build strong relationships with clients to understand their goals and project parameters. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training solutions will also be a key responsibility, ensuring that content remains relevant and up-to-date.
