The Sr Instructional Designer will play a pivotal role in enhancing the learning and development initiatives within the organization. This position requires collaboration with subject matter experts to design and develop effective learning experiences that facilitate the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competencies among learners. The primary goal is to create engaging and effective instructional materials that cater to the diverse needs of the workforce. In this role, the Instructional Designer will define and document clear learning objectives, conduct thorough research, and work closely with subject experts to ensure the content is relevant and impactful. The designer will be responsible for creating a variety of instructional materials, including courses, curricula, student guides, and training manuals. Additionally, the designer will optimize content for learning by generating layouts and redesigning existing materials to better align with learner needs. The position also involves the development of eLearning curriculum and content using appropriate authoring tools, ensuring that all deliverables are timely and accurate through collaboration with managers and internal stakeholders. The Instructional Designer will create visual, audio, and interactive learning tools, develop testing and evaluation methods for all programs, and design orientation programs for new employees. Furthermore, the designer will utilize various instructional techniques, such as role-playing, simulations, and group discussions, to present information effectively. Evaluating training materials and modes of delivery will also be a key responsibility, ensuring that training effectiveness and costs are optimized.
