Key responsibilities include creating and implementing strategies to support and enhance the online delivery of education, developing processes for the support of the Learning Management System (LMS), and partnering with faculty to identify knowledge gaps. The position also requires writing and editing educational materials, collaborating with IT support teams to develop technology-related solutions, and translating instructional design into practical solutions. The candidate will represent the needs of faculty and stakeholders in integrating technology into classroom settings and will participate in strategic planning initiatives. The role also encompasses providing end-user support by troubleshooting complex inquiries related to the LMS and other software systems used in course management. The candidate will work with other teams to resolve issues associated with LMS tools and will research and recommend software upgrades. Furthermore, the position supports the expansion of online course development and instructs users on the operation of various online learning technologies. The candidate will correlate pedagogical best practices with available tools and explore new technologies for instructional purposes. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining interactive multimedia learning objects and assessments, ensuring adherence to instructional design best practices. Collaboration with subject matter experts to define instructional objectives and presenting recommendations regarding course design and delivery strategies are also key components of the role. The position requires the development of instructional materials for technology-based course redesigns and the creation of training roadmaps for online and blended learning programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
  • 4 years of relevant experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
